What is a Band? What is a Gallon? What are Alternates?

Pictured above are the two sizes of rose and hydrangea plants that we grow at Vintage Gardens.
Band pots measure 3” by 3” by 6 “ deep, a bit larger than a pint.
Gallons are 6” across and 8” deep. Bands generally grow to the size of a gallon plant in about 6 – 8 weeks during the growing season.
An Alternate Band or an Alternate Gallon is a second choice that you can select for us in the event that we are unable to supply one of your first choices. When you are selecting one of our Sale Specials, we require that you provide us with some alternate choices in order to receive the sale discount. As you add these to your shopping cart you’ll note that they appear with ‘no cost’ associated with them. You may provide us with as many alternates as you wish.
