Mrs. Alston’s Rose

Synonyms: Maud Alston

Brilliant cerise-red with a white eye and yellow stamens, this small flowered Polyantha was introduced by Alister Clark of Australia. An excellent spreading hummock, it blooms continuously in very large panicles, somewhat pyramidal, reminiscent of the Orléans Rose group. Flowers age to a softer shade of reddish pink.
