'Kardinal'
Very large lacecap flowers with large sterile florets in a crowded ring. The petals are scoop-shaped and elongated and tend to color a fine true red in lightly acid to neutral soils, while the fertile flowers often come blue at the same time, creating an arresting color effect occasionally seen in lacecaps, especially some of the Teller series, like this. Wadenswill, 1989.
