White
Pure white is an absence of color in truth, a color nearly impossible to find in roses, which tend to be tinted with color. Even those we consider white will show traces of yellow, pink or green. Cream is the loveliest shade of white, and much cheerier in the garden. We are fond of tan and green tints. Tans are really shades of orange, peach or cream and can be very dark, not really belonging to white at all. Most green tinting is a factor of pink.
